The island regularly flipflops from water rationing for over a million of its inhabitants to flooding that causes millions of dollars’ price of property loss. Accordingly, the endemic space was believed to be expanding to other islands.
Over the years, Brooks Island has had many homeowners and has been recognized by a wide range of names, together with Isla de Carmen, Rocky Island, Bird Island, and Sheep Island.
